John is an experienced, forward thinking dentist, and Practice Principal of Ghyllmount Dental. John is also a Special Advisor to the CQC and Chair of the LDC (Local Dental Commitee). Shiona joined us in 1999 and has made her name as a family dentist due to her caring nature. She is committed to professional development, regularly attending courses on aesthetic dentistry.
She has a keen interest in facial aesthetics and Botox and has been personally trained by Dr Bob Khanna. Ruben has extensive restorative qualifications and will bring much needed skills to Cumbria. He has a particular interest in tooth wear cases, smile design, full mouth rehabilitation and managing TMJ problems. An established professional armed with extensive knowledge and experience in dental and oral healthcare.
Ruben is bilingual in Spanish and English and has 9 years experience in the UK. Outside of work, Ruben is a loving husband and father to a beautiful daughter Maia. In his free time, he enjoys playing tennis, travelling, and skiing in winter and scuba diving in the summer with his wife, who is also a dentist.
