The practice owner, Dr. Robin Chakravorty, qualified from Manchester University Dental School in 1994, followed by 12 months postgraduate vocational training.
He then worked in several practices in the Yorkshire area before taking over Hemsworth Dental Centre in 2000.
He has attended numerous postgraduate courses as well as keeping up to date with non-clinical professional development.
Lead Clinical Dental Nurse, Kathryn Parker: Has been with the Practice since the end of 2012 and has many years of dental nursing experience both in large Corporate Practices as well as single handed Practices.

Many people say that they feel years younger after the treatment, having erased the effects of ageing, coffee, red wine and cigarettes.
We also use Whitewash, Pola white and zoom products, both tray systems and strips which may be used straight out of the box.
How white will my teeth get?
A. Bleaching can whiten teeth up to 10 shades, results vary but if used correctly all teeth will whiten noticeably.
How long does it last?
A. Results can last indefinitely with some very simple maintenance, wearing the trays for 1 night every 3 months.

He is also trained in the use of dermal fillers specifically designed to reduce static facial lines.
At Hemsworth Dental Centre, we are delighted to offer the following products to add both definition and volume to the lips, pain-free under a dental local anaesthetic as required.

Bite irregularities may contribute to a grinding/clenching habit which causes excessive tooth wear.
Overloaded teeth can become hot/cold sensitive or in extreme cases contribute to the nerve of the tooth dying off.
Have an examination by a dentist who has undergone further practical training in occlusion who will be able to assess the problem and if necessary provide protective splints/therapy aids or provide permanent adjustment to teeth i.e. the equilibration, to enable the teeth to meet in such a way as to allow the jaw joint and associated muscles to work harmoniously.
