Dr Martyn Cox grew up in Devizes and attended Devizes School before studying for an Honours Degree in Cell Biology and Immunology at Plymouth University. His PhD thesis at Bristol University covered research into the molecular biology of virus infections and human oral cancer.
Martyn has been awarded numerous research prizes in the UK and has published widely in both the UK and international peer reviewed journals including several oral cancer textbooks and has lectured on oral cancer and human papilloma virus genetics both in the UK, Europe and the USA.Martyn then undertook his BDS dental degree at Bristol University.
