We are an independently owned dental practice providing general dentistry on both an NHS and private basis to patients predominately from the West Wiltshire area.
A dental practice has operated at 33 Market Place Melksham for many decades providing care to many generations of patients.
In 2008 the practice was purchased by its current owner, Raija Frampton.
During the last 3 years the practice has seen considerable investment in the decor of the building, the facilities for patients and new equipment.

Raija qualified as dental surgeon in Finland 1983 and has worked in the UK since 1996 and is a very experienced general dentist.
Raija purchased the Market Place Dental Practice in 2008 and has since been working to increase the range of treatments available to patients and has been developing the nursing and reception teams.
Considerable investment has been made to improve the facilities available to patients have also been made under her direction.
Raija has considerable experience in mentoring dentists joining the NHS system.

This covers an examination, diagnosis (eg X-rays), advice on how to prevent future problems, a scale and polish if needed, and application of fluoride varnish or fissure sealant.
If you require urgent care, even if your urgent treatment needs more than one appointment to complete, you will only need to pay one Band 1 charge.
This covers everything listed in Band 1 above, plus any further treatment such as fillings, root canal work or if your dentist needs to take out one or more of your teeth.

As a practice we offer the option of a private plan to our patients at a cost of 15.00 per month.
