Services
At Highcliffe Dental Care we regularly review our service to ensure that we continue to offer value whilst providing the highest level of care to our patients.
We would like to present to the patients opportunity to join one of our dental plans which make paying for dental care as cost effective as possible.
Allows you to spread the cost of your dental care rather than having unexpected or large payments.
Encourages preventive dentistry - meaning you could be less likely to need additional treatment due to any problems being caught early.
Dental Implants are the ideal way to replace missing teeth.
They will restore your confidence to talk and smile and they will give you the opportunity to eat the foods you like.
Losing one or more teeth starts a chain of events that can have physical and cosmetic consequences.
The most obvious result is in your smile: a space plus an overhanging tooth from the opposite arch; less obvious is the loss of chewing function which leads to biggest consequence: bone loss.
The only proven way to prevent bone loss after the loss of natural teeth is the Dental Implant.
Cosmetic or aesthetic dentistry refers to any dental work that improves the appearance (but not necessarily the function) of a person's teeth or oral condition.
White Fillings (composite fillings).
This is a newer, aesthetically more improved filling material that is tooth-colored and can be matched with the patient's tooth, therefore greatly improving the appearance of the tooth itself.
Once the tooth is filled with this material, the filling will blend in with the natural tooth and it won't be able to distinguish.
Veneers are very thin natural-looking slices of porcelain which are fitted over the palatal surface (visible when smiling) of the front teeth.

Porcelain veneers are tailored to each individual.
We ensure we understand your expectations and desires and then work with you for a treatment plan.
At the initial appointment, we take an impression of your teeth in order to create a wax-up model.
If your tooth becomes infected or is badly decayed, you may need a Root Canal to repair and save your tooth.
As part of the procedure, the pulp and nerve of the tooth are removed and the inside of the tooth is cleaned and then it is sealed up.
If you didn't have this treatment, the tissue surrounding the tooth will become infected and abscesses may form.
Root Canal treatment is also known as Endodontics.
The infection can be painless in the early stages and in some cases the tooth could darken in colour, which means the nerve of the tooth 'has died'.
