Services
The NHS provides treatment necessary to secure and maintain your oral health but there are other options and materials available that are not available under the NHS.
These can include white fillings, tooth whitening, bridges, crowns and dentures.
Your dentist will be happy to discuss all the options with you including costs.
If you are an NHS patient you may opt to pay the private fee for any supplemental treatments you choose.
The dentists and clinical team are all registered with the General Dental Council and as such have a duty to follow the standards set out by the council.
All clinically necessary treatments to secure and maintain your oral health is available on the NHS.
If you would like, you can agree to have some of your treatment provided privately, this will involve different materials and can take a longer appointment time.
You may also choose to have cosmetic treatment which will be provided privately.
This includes things like tooth whitening, white fillings / white crowns on back teeth.
The National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence (NICE) has introduced guidelines on how often patients need to go to the dentist.
