Covering all aspects of dental care from routine through to complex dental needs in a calm and relaxing atmosphere. I love my work and it excites me how U Dentistry has grown and continues to do so since opening in 2005. I am immensely proud of the practice, the team and the work that we do. Delivering complex, specialist care is made so much easier in the calm, relaxing environment of U Dentistry.
U Dentistry is an award-winning dental practice with the ability to offer all aspects of general dental treatment, as well as a range of specialist services that you may require, under one roof. No hidden charges, we will always provide you with a breakdown and agreement of treatment content and costs before commencement. Every patient has a different reason for choosing U Dentistry for their particular treatment.
We asked some recent patients to describe in their own words why they chose U Dentistry and what the treatment they received has meant to them. Following the lockdown announcement Sara Hurley, Chief Dental Officer for England stated that dental services should remain open and see patients, with the enhanced operating procedures introduced after the first lockdown.

Essentially dental implants are an anchor, usually made of titanium which are inserted in a minor surgical procedure into the jaw bone.
Once in place the patients bone effectively knits with the implant surface creating a very strong attachment, a process termed osseointegration.
Implants act as anchors and can be used in a variety of ways from supporting a single tooth through to supporting a larger number of teeth as implant retained bridges.
Implants can even be used in small numbers under dentures which can significantly enhance confidence and ability when eating and speaking - such treatments can often be life changing.

We believe that teeth need to look like teeth so any work that we do needs to blend in.
All of our routine dental treatments aspire to achieve this using tried and tested high quality materials in the way that they should be used.
Crowns are sometimes referred to as 'caps', they permanently cover your natural tooth with effectively a false tooth.
Crowns are made in a dental laboratory from a broad choice of materials which are usually ceramic based.
To recreate effective contact points with adjacent teeth, slack or open contacts are often prone to food trapping which creates irritation and can lead to gum disease.
