At your first visit, we will ask you to complete a full medical history and dental health questionnaire.
Your dentist will introduce themselves and invite you to come through to their surgery.
Your dentist will undertake a full oral health assessment, looking at your: teeth, gums, soft tissues and performing a comprehensive oral cancer screening.
X-rays, digital photos and impressions may be taken with your consent to gain a better understanding of your oral health.
No treatment will be undertaken at this appointment and plenty of time will be available for your dentist to explain their findings to you, and for you to ask any questions you may have.
Your dentist will introduce themselves and invite you to come through to their surgery.

For the past 13 years, I've entrusted my dental care to Rachel at Castlegate, and I can't speak highly enough of her. As someone who's quite anxious about dental visits, Rachel consistently goes above and beyond to ease my nerves. She takes the time to thoroughly explain each procedure and ensures that I'm comfortable every step of the way. In all my years, spanning into my 60s, I've never encountered a dentist as skilled and compassionate as Rachel.
