Here at Gables Dental Practice in Guildford, we welcome new patients looking for professional, caring dentistry. We've been in practice here in Guildford for over 70 years and can offer NHS treatment for children so families are also very welcome. Gables Dentral Practice is one of Guildford's longest established dentists and have been at The Gables in London Road, Guildford for over 70 years.

We are pleased to offer the full range of dental treatments together with hygiene services and advanced solutions such as dental implants. Our reception staff can also give a guide to cost and following the consultation with your dentist, you will be provided with a detailed written treatment plan with associated fees.

Book a 30 minute appointment consisting of consultation, assessment of dental decay and gum disease, oral cancer screening, advice & treatment planning and x-rays for just 65 (Normally 85).

A dental abscess can be an infection inside the tooth, or an infection between the tooth and gum.

A gum abscess tends to be associated with gum disease, where a deep gap develops between the gum and tooth.
Dental abscesses can cause severe and throbbing pain that usually worsens over a few hours.
As the skin over the abscess becomes inflamed, the face may swell and be painful to touch.
