Finding a dentist that you like and trust is important. You need the confidence they can look after you and your teeth. You need a dentist that listens and understands you, and with whom you have a good rapport. If you have children, you want them to be treated gently and communicated with at their level. You want your children to have no fear of going to the dentist.
Here at Finaghy Dental, you are the most important person. That is why we place you at the heart of everything we do at the practice. In essence, we are about you. Your teeth, your life, your dental Health.

Services
I qualified as a dental surgeon in 1989 from Queen's University Belfast and have been working in general practice ever since.
I really enjoy helping patients getting a good looking and healthy set of teeth which they can look after themselves and that do not need a lot of further dentistry carried out.
That is a result for me.
Do it once, and do it right.
I think it's really important for me to listen to what a patient really wants, and for me to deliver that outcome in as simple and easy way as possible.

On Fridays, please contact the surgery on 028 90614937.
Outside these core surgery hours, a Relief of Dental Pain Clinic runs at Belfast City Hospital.
The clinic starts at 7:30pm each week-day evening, and 10am and 730pm on Saturdays and Sundays.
Public holiday clinics also run at 10am and 730pm.
Each clinic runs for 2-3 hours and the order patients are seen is children first, then adults, based on a first come first served basis.
You are advised to get there early as these clinics can be very busy and you will probably have to wait over an hour or so.

Evening, Friday afternoon or Saturday morning appointments may be arranged with your dentist.
Please note the practice does not close over lunchtime.
We have three free parking places reserved for patients available at the front of the practice.
Short notice cancellations or missed appointments cause a considerable financial loss to the practice, and may stop another patient in pain from getting an urgent appointment slot, as soon as possible.
We would therefore ask that if you do need to cancel an appointment, you try and give us as much notice as possible.
