We recommend that you attend every 6month.
This is so we can spot decay early before it destroys the tooth and so we can spot Gum Disease (gingivitis) early before it spreads too far.
We can also spot weak teeth, fractured fillings and other potential problems.
All children are seen for free at the practice, when at least one parent is an active member at the practice.
We recommend your child sees a dentist before the age of 18 months so we can spot any child problems early.
It is also for your child can build up their confidence in seeing us and build a lasting relationship.
If your child has decay or cavities in the mouth we would like to find the cause of these.
We believe prevention is better than cure.
If there are cavities we may also like to see the child possibly every 3 months rather than 6 months.
Our dental hygienist (also called oral hygienist) is a licensed dental professional who specialises in preventive oral health, typically focusing on techniques in oral hygiene.
Our hygienist will clean and remove stains from your teeth and then focus on teaching you how to keep your teeth clean so you don't have to see her as often!
Common procedures performed by hygienists include cleanings known as prophylaxis, scaling and root planing for patients with periodontal disease, taking of prescribed radiographs, dental sealants, administration of fluoride, and providing instructions for proper oral hygiene and care.
Teeth are stained by the foods and drinks we consume.
Smoking further stains teeth and the natural bright, white shade becomes darkened.
Teeth whitening is a successful and simple method of lightening the colour of your teeth.
The degree of whiteness achieved will vary from patient to patient and with the type of bleaching process chosen.
Your teeth can be lightened immediately using this technique which is conducted in our Dental Practice.

Our Office 1-hour power whitening can whiten teeth by up to several shades, brightening your teeth dramatically to its natural shade.
