Goska qualified as a dentist in Poland in 1998 at the Colegium Medicum in Krakow - one of the best universities in Poland. She worked in a high quality practice in her own country before coming to this country in 2005. After working in various local practices, she established her own dental surgery in Torquay in 2008 and subsequently opened Diplomat Dental in Dawlish in 2011.
Goska is well known for being a very kind and patient dentist and our young and older patients particularly appreciate her gentleness. She is particularly interested in dental hygiene and facial spa treatments and as a result she has studied how to administer dermal fillers and botulinium toxin (Botox)o with the world renowned, Dr Khanna, Cosmetic and Reconstructive Dental Surgeon.
She is interested in all types of sport but particularly swimming and cycling in the countryside, getting to know Devon with her daughter and husband. After studying for 5 years at the University of Medical Sciences (Dental Department) of Poznan in Poland, he graduated in 2000 with a degree 'lek.stom.' which is the counterpart of British 'BDS'.

Regular six monthly check ups so no nasty problems are allowed to develop and your teeth remain looking their best.
Restorative fillings using the most up to date materials available to prolong the life of a tooth and to enhance its appearance.
Dental Implants can be used to replace missing teeth without damaging the other teeth which are near them.
These implants are not available on the NHS but are available from Diplomat Dental at very reasonable prices.
Just ask at Reception for prices.
Extractions are only used when a tooth can no longer be repaired and to relieve you of pain.

You'll only ever be asked to pay one charge for each complete course of treatment, even if you need to visit your dentist more than once to finish it - either Band 1, Band 2 or Band 3. Some minor treatments, including having stitches removed or repair to dentures (if they can be mended) are free.
This covers an examination, diagnosis e.g.
X rays, advice on how to prevent future problems, a scale and polish if needed and application of fluoride varnish or fissure sealants.

At our NHS Dental Practice we do not provide an NHS out of hours service but we are able to provide you with information on how to access the Emergency system.
We are primarily an NHS dentist and provide a full range of treatments under the Government's contract.
Where the treatment does not exist on the NHS or if the patient specifically requests a different treatment we do provide certain treatments on a private basis.
These 'private' treatments are clearly outlined from our services page sub menu.
