Bicton Place Dental Practice is a private dental practice based in the heart of Exmouth, Devon. We strive to offer the very best of dental care, in a relaxed, pleasant environment and at a very competitive price. Our practice, which has been established since the 1940's, is proud to have achieved The British Dental Association (BDA) 'Good Practice' Award and the 'Denplan Excel Accreditation' (which is the only practice accreditation programme recognised by The Patients Association). Both these programmes demonstrate that we are committed to providing an excellent service and achieve continual improvement.

We have three dentists at Bicton Place - both with extensive experience and excellent reputation.
David Ward has over 30 years' experience as a qualified dentist and runs the Bicton Place Dental Surgery in Exmouth where he has worked since 1992.
They offer the full range of dental healthcare and treatments from regular check-ups and advice through to the more cosmetic improvements such as veneers, crowns and teeth whitening.
We take great pride in the care of our patients - many of whom have been coming to our practice for years.

He was Senior House Officer in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Torbay Hospital for a year and has worked for practices in Crediton, Torquay and abroad in New Zealand.

Sarah qualified as a Dental Surgeon at University College Cork and has a Masters in Minor Oral Surgery.
She has worked in the South West for over ten years.
Sarah has particular experience providing care for children and adults with increased anxiety related to dental care.
Sarah works with us every Wednesday whilst continuing her part-time work for the Special Care Dental Services in Exeter and Barnstaple providing care for patients with additional needs.

Invisalign is a well-established, near-invisible aligner system that is designed to gradually and gently straighten teeth.
Favoured by older as well as younger patients wanting to avoid the traditional 'tram track' braces.
The Invisalign system has no wires and brackets - these effective, clear aligners can be conveniently removed for eating and drinking and simply replaced afterwards so you can eat, brush and floss your teeth as normal, making them much more socially comfortable and also more hygienic.

Most of our patients are members of Denplan under a Denplan 'Essentials' package.
Essentials offers our patients the chance to spread the costs of two dental examinations plus hygiene with their dentist over the year, whilst enjoying 10% discount off any additional treatment they undertake.
