Kirkham Dental Care
The vast majority of our existing patients are part of the Practice Plan scheme, which start from just over 10 a month for adults. This includes regular check-ups, scales & polishes with the added benefit of 20% discount off all treatment at the practice (excluding Invisalign). What's more, these patients also receive the peace of mind that they have emergency dental treatment cover both in the UK and abroad as well as dental injury assurance (see Practice Plan Terms and Conditions for full details).

Many of our patients find that being on a plan is a great way to spread the cost of routine dental care, ensures their dental health is maintained in the best condition with the added benefit they are covered in the unfortunate event they might have a dental emergency or injury. There are different variations of the scheme available to suit each patient's needs and budget.

Please contact the practice for more details on these cost-effective plans. 46 Poulton Street first became a dental practice in the 1960s after being converted from a residential Victorian property by the late Mr Mondy (dental surgeon).
Services
I am the Principal Dentist and Owner of Kirkham Dental Care.
I obtained my Bachelor of Dental Surgery from The University of Birmingham in 2009.
Since then I have worked in General Practice.
In 2012 I obtained the rigorous Royal College of Surgeons Membership Diploma in the Joint Dental Faculties (MJDF).
I am also a qualified Invisalign practitioner.
My philosophy towards providing dentistry is simple; it should be done with care, consideration, safety and quality to the fore.
It is this ethos that has driven me to running my own practice, and to ensure patients under my care are treated well from the moment they enter the practice and long after they have left!
I started my working career in Kirkham back in the last century!
I hold the National Certificate for Dental Nurses, a diploma in Oral Health Education and also certificate in the taking of Dental X rays.
I am now Practice Manager and help the Principal Dentist run the practice and also oversee the general daily administration.
My responsibilities cover Health and Safety, guiding our Clinical Governance programme and staff training.
I love working here at No. 46, and enjoy the interaction with patients and staff that I have come to know over the years.
This means that we can now welcome patients requesting the services of the Dental Hygienist without having to be examined by a dentist prior to the appointment.
For patients who regularly see our dentists it is no longer necessary to have a prescription from the dentist before having a hygienist appointment.
If you are registered at another Dental Surgery - for example, one with no hygienist - we may also like your permission to write to your own practice to inform them of any concerns the hygienist may have.
