The Parade Dental Practice is a great place to work and our staff are testimony to that. Some have been at the practice since 1987! We have four dentists, two hygienist and six other members of staff, all here to provide you with excellent dental services at a price everyone can afford. Betsie Blignaut qualified as a dentist in 1986 at the university of Pretoria.
She owned her own private dental practice before relocating to the UK in 1991. She joined the Parade Dental Practice in Epsom in 1992 as an associate and later became the Principal in 2001. Dr. Blignaut has many years experience in treating very nervous patients and often uses a sedationist to assist her. When patients are sedated, they are fully conscious, but totally relaxed.
This makes dental treatment pain and anxiety free for these patients. Relative Analgesia is also available. It delivers a mixture of nitrous oxide (laughing gas)and oxygen. This means she is able to treat patients that would have otherwise opted not to have any treatment at all because of their dental phobia.
