The charges you pay depend on the treatment you require to keep your mouth, gums and teeth healthy.
You will only ever be asked to pay one charge for each complete course of treatment, even if you need to visit your dentist more than once to finish it - either Band 1, Band 2 or Band 3. In some cases, patients are required to be referred to another dentist for another course of treatment, if this happens you can expect a pay a second charge or in particular areas of dentistry you may be required to be referred outside of the clinic (see Treatment on referral).

We have taken safety precautions to prioritise the safety of all patients and staff - for instance the practice will be locked, patients to call us to let us know they have arrived, use of screens, no waiting inside the practice and staff wearing personal protective equipment.
We will also carry out a short screening Risk Assessment questionnaire before you attend the practice.
It may still be necessary for us to refer you elsewhere for treatment as in this early phase, we will be seeing patients who need urgent dental care only, until we fulfil other safety requirements.

If you notice any of the above warning signs of periodontal infection, please contact your general dentist and ask for a periodontal evaluation.
Important Note: Your gums can look quite normal and yet deep pockets of periodontal infection can be present.
