Victoria Park Dental Practice
Daniel graduated in 2012 from Dundee University and has worked in general practice since, providing all aspects of NHS and private dentistry. He has furthered his education in implant and restorative dentistry, completing postgraduate training at the Eastmann Institute in London and recently completed the prestigious advanced dental seminars course.

Digital dentistry is the biggest change in dentistry in over a century and Daniel has been providing restorative dentistry with a 3D scanner at the practice for several years. After graduating from Dundee University in 2011, Jade has continued her career in a busy NHS practice, providing both NHS and private treatments. Jade also has a keen interest in restorative dentistry and has completed a diploma in restorative and aesthetic dentistry from the University of Manchester.

Jade has experience in short-term orthodontics (Smilelign) and will be available for free consultations and to provide treatment to qualifying cases. In her free time, Jade enjoys spending time with her horse and competes regularly.
Services
Teeth are lost for many reasons such as age, disease or accident, and the need to replace the tooth with a functioning yet aesthetic alternative is a top priority for most patients.
Having gaps often causes feelings of insecurity and self-consciousness and can also affect the way you eat and speak.
In many cases a dental implant is the ideal and most clinically suitable solution.
A dental implant a small post made of very strong biocompatible material, usually titanium, which is used as an artificial tooth root.
At Victoria Park Dental, we know that not only teenagers want straighter teeth.
Often adults would also like to have their smiles straightened, but think they're missed their chance or are hesitant to wear 'train track' braces for extended periods.
For this reason, in addition to traditional orthodontics, we are pleased to offer modern, short-term solutions.
Smilelign is an orthodontic treatment involving a series of virtually invisible, removable aligners.
Each aligner is custom-designed for your teeth and will move your teeth in small increments, week by week.
Replacing missing teeth is important, to prevent stress on other teeth and the shifting of adjacent teeth.
A bridge is a permanent solution for missing teeth which will look and feel just like your natural teeth.
Unlike dentures, a bridge is permanently fixed in your mouth, giving you increased support and stability as you chew and speak.
To make a bridge, we crown the two teeth either side of the missing teeth and bespoke replacement teeth are fixed to them, therefore 'bridging the gap'.
Because they are custom-made, bridges can restore the natural contour of your arch as well as the proper bite relationship between upper and lower teeth.
Accidents happen and if you've broken a tooth you may be wondering what can be done to fix it.
Don't worry, there are several options available to you.
Much will depend on the condition of the tooth, and whether it's a front or back tooth.
Possible solutions range from having a composite onlay (filling material) place over the crack or chipped portion to make it whole again, having a porcelain veneer to cover the front of the tooth or having a complete crown placed.
Whatever your requirements, we have an option to suit.
Crowns are typically used to cover a heavily filled, decayed or broken tooth as well as to provide strength after a root canal treatment.
A crown is a restoration, traditionally made of metal but increasingly made from porcelain or zirconia, that is placed over the affected tooth to amend its shape, size or strength.
Traditional metal-based crowns have long been used, but today porcelain and pressed zirconia crowns offer a strong, effective and aesthetically-pleasing option which are completely metal-free.
