Dental implants are a permanent way of replacing missing teeth and they feel, work and look very much like your own teeth.
They can be used to replace individual or even a full set of missing teeth.
A dental implant is an artificial or prosthetic tooth root which is placed into the jaw.
Once this is in position, a tooth that has been built to match your own teeth is fixed onto the prosthetic root.
