Since being 10 years old, I have dreamed of being a dentist.
When my Mum took me to the dentist, I knew it was a career that combined a love of science, working with my hands, artistry, and working with people.
In 1992, I moved from Felixstowe in Suffolk to Liverpool to study dentistry.
Five years later I qualified and started my career in dentistry in North Wales.
I then went on to work in various clinics in Chester, Northwich, and Wales before settling on the Wirral, where in 2010, I was lucky enough to buy Maycroft.

Your Child will be kept well informed of the procedure, and if they wish us to stop at any given time for whatever reason, we will.
Let's face it, none of us really love going to the dentist - especially our children.
But proper dental care is critical to your child's overall health and well-being.
Here at Maycroft Dental Practice we offer a relaxing environment when it comes to Childrens Dentistry.

When you have a missing tooth, it affects the way you chew, eat, and can look odd when you smile.
These gaps can also cause the other teeth to move into the empty space, resulting in a bad bite.
Dental bridges are the right solution in such a situation.
There are different types of materials from which bridges are made.
Depending on where the bridge is to be placed, its role, aesthetic considerations and cost, our dentists will help you choose the right type of bridge.
If there are more than two-three missing teeth, dental bridges are not advised because longer spanning bridges are prone to collapsing.
