The University Dental & Implant Centre
Following the lockdowns, we are happy to welcome you back and look after your dental health. Please be assured we have taken all recommended measures to ensure your safety. We can now offer appointments for all our treatments - for emergency as well as routine care. However, access to the practice is by appointment only. To arrange an appointment, please email us at contact@universitydental.co.uk, or call us on 0121 687 8882 during normal working hours (Monday-Thursday: 9am to 5pm, Friday: 9am to 1pm).

We will then arrange care. Appointments are necessary because we must prioritise social distancing and enhanced Infection Control measures to ensure that our practice remains a safe environment. This is for the safety of all patients and staff. We therefore need to limit how many patients we have at our practice at any one time. We will be taking measures to ensure that your appointments are efficient, and that you are fully protected while in our care.

This means that certain types of dental care may not be available under the NHS but can be offered privately.
The clinical time appropriate to complete an item of treatment to a high standard.
This is important in nearly all procedures but especially in root treatments, gum care and crowns where the more time that is spent the more predictable will be the success of the treatment.
Appropriate time during consultations to discuss your treatment needs, and the options available in your particular case.
Sometimes it may not be possible to discuss all your treatment needs in the initial visit, in which case we will re-arrange a further visit in order that we can discuss your needs in detail.
Denplan is an excellent way of budgeting for dental care.
This are monthly plan which give certain benefits towards the cost of maintaining your dental health by the University Dental Centre.
Thre are two plans: Denplan Care (comprehensive cover) and Denplan Essentials (maintenance cover).
The only extra charges are making and materials charges for providing crowns, dentures, and bridges.
However you will be liable for the materials and making costs of crowns etc., which typically is about 150 per crown (normal crown prices are 450).
