Services
If you need urgent treatment during normal surgery hours please contact us by phone and we will arrange an appointment for you as soon as possible.
Phone early (reception is open from 8:00 am) and we will try our best to see you the same day.
You may also of course call at reception.
Please note that normally we cannot give you emergency treatment there and then but we will find the first available emergency slot for you.
When you phone the surgery outside of hours a message will advise you on where help is available.
At your initial consultation, we will check for tooth decay and gum health and also examine your entire mouth, head, and neck area.
X-rays are used to look for signs of tooth decay, as well as for gum disease and other oral health problems.
X-rays may be taken during your check up but not every time.
Your dentist will consider your clinical examination, dental history, and risk for developing cavities in determining the frequency for X-rays.
Only a professional cleaning provided by a dental hygienist (or dentist) can thoroughly clean your teeth and remove the hardened deposit (called calculus or tartar) that builds up on teeth.
As a Denplan member, you have a monthly payment to cover all the routine care and treatment needed to keep teeth and gums healthy.
The monthly amount is determined by an examination of your mouth.
The amount you pay depends on a number of factors including how many fillings, root fillings and crowns you have.
A special examination of your mouth by your dentist gives us the information we need to tell you what your level of payment will be.
Appointments can be made either by telephone or in person.
You can also request an appointment below.
We encourage you to visit the practice regularly and can book your next appointment before you leave.
If you are unable to keep an appointment please give as much notice as possible.
We reserve the right to charge for missed appointments and appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours notice.
Your first contact with a dental practice can be daunting.
Don't worry we understand this and will go out of our way to be sympathetic, understanding and helpful.
The best time to phone for a routine appointment is mid-morning or mid-afternoon.
If possible avoid phoning on a Monday morning as it is a particularly busy time at the reception.
