Services
Thank you for choosing Whiteley Dental Practice.
We hope to introduce you to preventive dental care and by working together to show you how to look after your teeth and gums so that you can enjoy dental health for life.
To that end as well as having 3 dentists, we also have 1 hygienist and 1 oral health educator at the practice.
However, if more active treatment is required you can rest assured that it will be carried out to the very highest standard that we can achieve.
And here at WDP we pride ourselves on providing dentistry in a caring and friendly environment and equally importantly - gentle on your pocket.
When you contact the practice for the first time, our friendly reception staff will explain to you that your initial consultation will take about 20 to 30 minutes with the dentist, and includes all the necessary basic radiographs, and will cost 45.00.
A suitable appointment will be arranged, and you will be asked to pay a deposit towards the examination fee which goes towards the cost of your initial assessment appointment.
Your dentist will then make a thorough clinical examination listening to any problems or questions that you might have.
We realise that as well as wanting your smile to look great, you'd also like the rest of your face to look equally good.
Facial aesthetic treatments help to remove or reduce lines, and improve facial contours.
As dentists, we are ideally placed to carry them out because of our advanced knowledge of the facial tissue, and our experience in carrying out intricate procedures.
For lines caused by muscle movements, such as frown lines, creases on the forehead and crows' feet around the eyes, we use an approved wrinkle treatment.
It is our practice policy to give patients full information about the cost of their dental work before any treatment is undertaken.
A written estimate and treatment plan will be provided.
We offer patients a range of payment options, depending on their needs.
You may pay for your dental care by cheque, cash or credit/debit card.
Private patients may also join Denplan Care.
We try to make payment as straightforward as possible.
Our normal policy is that patients are asked to pay at each visit, along with a deposit for the next appointment's treatment if necessary.
