Kingswells Dental Practice
We would like to announce that we have reopened the dental practice from Wednesday 24/6/2020 for dental emergencies. We will be working accordingly with regulations set out by NHS Scotland. We are currently at phase 2. All NHS dental practices in Scotland at phase 2 can see patients face-to-face for dental emergencies only. We can only perform treatments which do not create aerosol.

Please call NHS 111 if you need an emergency dental appointment outwith these working hours or on a weekend. We are working very hard to make sure all of us, the team and patients are safe. When you visit the practice, we would like to ask you to help us and follow all the new rules and regulations.
Services
From routine dentistry to more advanced restorative procedures and facial aesthetics, we've got you covered.
During an initial consultation your dentist will inspect the soft and hard tissue in your mouth.
By inspecting the soft tissue your dentist is looking for any abnormalities, halitosis (bad breath) signs of periodontal disease or mouth cancer.
While inspecting your hard tissue (teeth) your dentist will be checking for decay, bite anomalies, seeing how your teeth can be improved functionally as well as how your smile can be enhanced aesthetically.
We can help with a range of dental emergencies, investigating the source of your discomfort and treating this as appropriate.
If you're in a great deal of pain, we would try our best to see you within 24 hours.
You will be accomodated as promptly as possibly if you have a fractured tooth, crown, veneer, require bridge re-cementation or first stage root canal treatment.
Childsmile is a national programme designed to improve the oral health of children in Scotland and reduce inequalities both in dental health and access to dental services.
Visit www.child-smile.org.uk for more information on the programme.
Fluoride is a natural mineral that already exists in most foods and sources of water.
Its incredible effects in fortifying teeth against decay have been well documented and supported by experts for over 50 years.
Although your teeth will gain some fluoride simply from eating and drinking, it is important that this is supplemented with professional applications and other sources.
We offer a range of Save Face Accredited Doctor-led injectable aesthetic treatments at Kingswells Dental Practice.
We believe that aesthetic treatments should fulfill the following: rejuvination (slowing or reducing the effects of aging), correct discrepancies, achieve natural-appearing, age-appropriate beauty, and ultimately improve your happiness and self-esteem.
Our aesthetics service is provided by Dr. Hassan Abbas through our partners Hourglass Aesthetics Ltd, who also offer an integrated skincare service and are the official REVIV lifestyle Genetics supplier in Aberdeen.
