Services
Our practice was started in 1978 with Christopher Knight, when he retired in 2006, George Wilby-Lopez took over and expanded the practice from 2 surgeries to 5 surgeries with the building works being completed in 2015.
The team has developed a great depth of knowledge, skill and qualifications which developed a well respected reputation in the area, this has lead to the practice's patient base growing by 600% since 2006.
Payment plans that provide regular private dental care with your dentist and their dental team, helping to keep your teeth and gums healthy now and prevent problems in the future.
Our Philosophy has always been to distinguish ourselves as a surgery that provides dentistry of the very highest quality.
Our Aim is to promote oral health.
Please visit our Oral Health section for current advice relating to young patients and adults.
We will listen to you and work with you to provide care that meets the best and appropriate choices for your dental care.
We will explain options, where appropriate, and costs so that you can make an informed choice.
Infection control and cleanliness are essential therefore, all staff working in the practice receive training on the current standards of infection control.
Periodontal disease is the Number One cause of tooth loss amongst adults.
This is because a certain number of people (15-20%) have immune systems that overreact to the bad bacteria in their mouths.
When this overreaction occurs, the immune system attacks and breaks down the bone and tissue that surround the tooth.
This destruction is not predictable and can occur sporadically.
None of us knows if we are part of this 15-20% because we can't usually feel or notice the onset of gum and bone (periodontal) disease.
It is our aim to provide excellent dental treatment for children in a relaxed and caring environment, so that they are happy to visit the dentist.
We feel that it is important to ensure that children grow up with a positive attitude towards dental health.
We would like to see patients from as young as one year old.
This enables us to check for early signs of any problems and to advise on dental health and diet and to help establish good preventive habits from an early age.
We emphasise the importance of dental health to children as they get older and how to take more responsibility for their own dental care.
We understand that choosing a new dentist can be a big decision and, for some, a leap of faith.
We are delighted to say that very many of our clients come to us by way of personal recommendation from their friends or family members.
We think this a huge compliment.
Please do tell us if this is how you found us.
We will be very happy to answer any questions and, if you wish.
There is no obligation to join us at this stage - but if you like what you see, you are welcome to become a patient of the practice by booking an assessment appointment with one of our dentists.
