Welcome to Hampden Dental Care, where we have provided quality, comprehensive dental care since 1982. At Hampden Dental Care, we understand that many people do not enjoy going to the dentist. That is why our team is committed to helping our patients feel comfortable and at ease during their visits so that they can continue to receive the dental care they need.
In addition to offering private treatment rooms and evening appointments, we offer a variety of options for sedation dentistry. In the past, if you needed a crown, it would have meant at least two trips to the dentist, and time spent waiting for your crown to be created at a dental lab. However, through the use of CEREC technology in Lakewood, Colorado we can create your porcelain crown during a single visit to our office Unlike metal crowns, porcelain crowns are completely safe and compatible with your body.
Dr. David Edlund and our team help patients of all ages achieve healthier smiles, and the results speak for themselves. We invite you to contact Hampden Dental Care today and schedule a visit to our dentist in Lakewood, Colorado, to learn how we can serve your smile.

Amalgam dental fillings were common back in the day, but not so much anymore.
In fact, many patients are having their amalgam fillings removed.
In most cases, patients request that their old amalgam fillings be removed because it has come out that these fillings contain mercury, which can harm your health over time.
At Hampden Dental Care, we support amalgam removal simply because we believe in taking care of the patient as a whole.
Dr. David Edlund and our team understand the dangers that amalgam fillings can present, and we are pleased to remove your amalgam fillings to help you avoid those dangers.

Here at Hampden Dental Care, we are dedicated to taking a whole-body approach to our dental care.
This means that we offer treatments and use materials that safe for not only the mouth but also the body.
As part of this dedication, our dentist offers composite dental fillings in Lakewood, Colorado, to treat teeth that have been moderately damaged.
Traditional amalgam, or silver, fillings are made up of a mixture of metals, one of which is mercury.
Mercury can be harmful to your health as it is released in small amounts through your filling.

If you find yourself in the position of having to replace an entire arch of teeth, or just a few, dentures may be the perfect option, especially if you are not a candidate for dental implants.
Our teeth serve more than one purpose.
They do help us to chew our food, but they also ensure that we are able to communicate effectively, and they can also provide a person with improved self-esteem and peace of mind.
You may need one or more extractions before you receive your dentures, but when the process is finished, your teeth and mouth can return to their natural functions.
