Services
At VS Dental Care Centre, our aim is to provide the best dental health for you and your family through preventative dentistry.
That means giving you regular dental advice and helping you to care for your teeth yourself to reduce the need for dental treatment.
Regular visits help us to detect problems such as decay, gum disease and even oral cancer early so that we can treat anything appropriately.
We're a family-run practice with a strong focus on delivering great preventative care.
We offer general treatments that help protect you from issues such as dental decay and gum disease, as well as providing restorative and cosmetic dentistry that can help improve self-confidence.
At VS Dental Care Centre, we believe in providing the very best service we can.
We have invested in modern dental technology, including digital x-rays and an OPG machine that captures panoramic scans.
Our three surgeries are equipped with the latest tools, making sure your comfort and care are always the first priority.
We offer both NHS and Private treatments.
We fully promote the importance of preventative care as the very best smile you can have is your natural smile.
For nearly 40 years, we have been maintaining natural smiles and great oral health for families.
At VS Dental Care Centre, we offer dental treatments on the NHS.
As the dental treatments offered on the NHS focus on prevention and oral health, cosmetic treatments aren't available on NHS bandings.
We do offer private and cosmetic treatments which can be done in conjunction with NHS treatment.
Covers an examination, diagnosis and advice.
If necessary, it also includes X-rays, a scale and polish, and planning for further treatment.
Covers all treatment included in Band 1, plus additional treatment, such as fillings, root canal treatment and removing teeth (extractions).
Regular dental examinations are the foundation for your dental care.
These routine appointments allow us to keep an eye on your oral health and spot any problems early.
During your appointment, we will examine and assess your teeth, gums and mouth.
You may not need to see us every six months and your dentist will let you know when you need to come back for your next check-up.
If you have any problems between check-ups, please phone us to arrange an earlier appointment.
Every routine check-up involves a thorough assessment of your teeth, gums, jaw, and mouth.
Visits to a hygienist, on top of having regular dental examinations, are the very best approach to preventing gum disease.
Hygienists are trained dental clinicians who are skilled at removing plaque and tartar build-ups from the surfaces of your teeth as well as the routine treatment and maintenance of on-going gum disease - essentially, they provide a very thorough clean.
Preventing gum disease will help you maintain your natural teeth for much longer.
Gum disease is the leading cause of tooth loss in the UK as, when left untreated, gum disease causes the gum tissue to recede and the jaw bone to degrade.
