All dentist now agree that dental implants provide the best long-term replacement for any missing or failing teeth, giving you the security and comfort you deserve.

Dental implants can replace a single tooth, several teeth or all of them and can also be used to anchor a bridge or dentures into place. I was first referred to Dr Pang many years ago for emergency treatment - and I have not looked back. He explains each procedure simply, presents all the options with their pros and cons, does not rush you and his treatment is always excellent.

He is caring and professional and follows developments in his field to continue adopting new methods if they are suitable. His whole team follows his philosophy of care, respect and professionalism with a smile on their face.-

An artificial crown will cover the entire visible aspect of the tooth on which they are placed, and so become the tooth's new outer surface.
Crowns (or caps) are designed to strengthen a tooth that has been damaged or deteriorated due to tooth decay.
The tooth will initially be prepared by shaving it down and removing any decay.
An impression of the prepared tooth is then made using an elastic impression material.
A temporary acrylic crown is then fitted over the prepared tooth, while the replacement crown is being made in the laboratory.
Over the years, root canal treatments have become synonymous with serious pain but new technology now enables dentists to perform the procedure virtually pain-free.
Root canals are needed when a dental infection or tooth decay reaches the pulp chamber of the tooth.
The infection destroys the nerves located within the root of the tooth, eventually causing the tooth to die.
Years ago, the only option for this type of dental problem was a tooth extraction.
Now, thanks to dental technology, we can save the tooth even though they are infected.
A tooth which is very decayed or damaged beyond repair or loose because of gum disease may have to be extracted.
The most common tooth extractions are usually wisdom tooth extractions, but your dentist may also remove a tooth if it is coming through the gum at an angle, threatening the position of other healthy teeth or contributing to overcrowding in the mouth.
In some cases, a broken tooth may also need to be extracted, as well as teeth with significant tooth decay that cannot be treated by a root canal.
Taking care of your infant's baby teeth and gums sets the stage.
We encourage your child's first dental visit by the age of 1 or after the first tooth erupts.
Once your child's baby teeth erupt, brush them with a small soft bristled toothbrush and a pea-sized amount of toothpaste after feedings and at bedtime.
Children are not programmed with a fear of the dentist.
However a place like the dentist's surgery can be scary for little ones.
The trick is to try make this new experience as a fun one.

If you need to have all of your teeth replaced, implant-supported dentures are ideal, providing more stability than traditional dentures and costing less than a complete set of single dental implants.
