If you are having a dental problem please ring the practice and we will arrange a telephone consultation with your dentist. If you have a routine appointment booked, we will be in touch to arrange a telephone consultation prior to your appointment. We aim to give our patients the same care and attention that we would give our family and close friends.

We have the latest digital radiograph technology, allowing us to give a lower dose of radiation and see the images straight away.
Services
We are a family run dental practice focused on providing preventive, modern dental care to the whole community.
We strive to help you improve your dental health, in turn promoting your general health and wellbeing.
Restoring your smile is a rewarding and important part of this.
We have been members of the Denplan Quality programme since 1995 and qualified for Denplan Excel accreditation in 2002 affirming our high standards.
If you would like to arrange an appointment please call us on 01384 292666 or email info@wallheathdental.co.uk.
At present our team comprises two dentists - Joanne Thompson and Lucy Thompson, and two hygienists - Jodi Read and Carol Bradley.
We are supported by a stable, dedicated staff of six nurses and two receptionists who are also registered nurses.
I qualified from Cardiff University in 1994 and gained a postgraduate qualification in general dental practice in 2002 (MFGDP) and a Masters Degree in Restorative Dentistry at Birmingham University in 2019.
I enjoy meeting and putting my patients at ease so I can understand their dental problems.
We provide private dentistry on a fee per item basis or you can be covered under the Denplan Excel insurance scheme.
We provide NHS dentistry for children, and for adults who are exempt or partially exempt from NHS charges.
It is important to have regular check-ups (at least once a year) to screen for dental decay, gum disease, oral cancer and jaw problems.
As part of our care for anxious patients and children we offer inhalation sedation (nitrous oxide).
Please contact us if you require any further information on our services, or have any comments or suggestions about our services.
Dental anxiety is very common, often leading people to avoid going to the dentist, or feeling distressed when they do.
We welcome nervous patients and try our best to put them at ease.
We have a friendly team who will reassure you and explain your treatment as much as you need.
On your first visit we will not do any treatment, you can come in and discuss your anxiety so we can work out the best way of overcoming it.
We use surface anaesthetic prior to injections to minimise the discomfort for all our patients.
Some examples of our private fees are listed below as a guide for you; the fees begin at the stated rate.
You will receive a written estimate for your treatment and an itemisation of costs prior to starting a course of treatment.
We aim to provide a full explanation of all of your options - giving information about the risks and benefits of each - so you can make an informed choice.
Many of our patients pay for their treatment through a monthly dental payment plan arranged for them by Denplan, the UK's leading payment plan specialist.
