Combining modern equipment with traditional values of service and care, we provide a comprehensive range of dental services, which are supported by our excellent, fully-accessible facilities. Most of all we encourage preventative techniques - helping you to understand how to maintain the health of your mouth and keep it free from tooth decay and gum disease.

All of our Dentists are well experienced and continue to develop their skills. The practice achieved an Investors in People bronze award in 2013 which demonstrated our commitment to our staff and patients. We have a dedicated team who are committed to providing the highest standards of care to our patients through continuing education and keeping up-to-date with changes in modern dentistry.

The Practice is headed by David McKinney from Portadown. David graduated from Queen's University Belfast in 1986 and gained experience in practice in Belfast and Armagh prior to opening Carleton Dental Practice in 1994. David has a special interest in cosmetic dentistry including crowns, veneers and tooth whitening.

Keep your mouth healthy with our comprehensive dental health check that involves examination of the teeth, gums, tongue, lips and soft tissues of the mouth.
Your dental health check also includes mouth cancer screening where we look for any abnormal areas in the mouth that may be of concern.
We recommend a routine dental health check every 6 months to ensure that the mouth is healthy and any problems can be identified and addressed at an early stage.

Our aim is to enhance your natural beauty in a subtle and natural way and give you renewed confidence in your appearance.
The procedure is gentle, quick, painless, simple and effective with visible results within three to seven days, lasting for four to six months.

From brushing their first tooth to their first trip to the dentist, here's how to take care of your children's teeth.
A regular teeth-cleaning routine is essential for good dental health.
Follow these tips and you can help keep your kids' teeth decay-free:.
Start brushing your baby's teeth with fluoride toothpaste as soon as the first milk tooth breaks through (usually at around six months, but it can be earlier or later).
It's important to use an age appropriate fluoride paste as this helps to prevent and control tooth decay.
We are pleased to offer patients the opportunity to join the Carleton Maintenance Plan, as we believe this provides the best chance of keeping dentally fit and reducing the need for treatment.
Our plan also allows patients to budget for their routine dental care.
Supplementary insurance is arranged by our plan administrators DPAS Limited (DPAS) acting as agent for the insurers ACE European Group Limited (ACE).
DPAS does not charge a fee for this.
Any treatment excluded from our plan can be carried out at your convenience on a private basis.
