Randalstown Dental Clinic
Originally founded in 1970, this clinic has been serving the local community for 40 years. We are pleased to provide our service in a new multi-disciplinary setting in conjunction with the local doctors and pharmacist under one roof in a convenient location with ample free parking. Glenn, Aisling & Nicola are the principal dentists and are proud of the family ethos of the practice with an emphasis on providing a high quality service for all patients in modern, comfortable surroundings.

We would like to thank our loyal generations of families who receive care from the practice for their continued support and kind referrals. Nicola graduated from Queens University Belfast with distinction in 2004 and completed a two year general professional training scheme which gained her valuable experience in surgical dentistry and treating children.

Nicola thoroughly enjoys her work and her enthusiasm for dentistry is evident in her dedication to completing demanding courses in an attempt to further her skills and knowledge for the benefit of her patients.
Services
We treat all kinds of problems, from crowded, misshapen or discoloured teeth, to loose or missing teeth.
If you have gappy teeth, braces might be an option to move the teeth together or veneers may be an alternative without using braces.
If the gaps are relatively small the gaps can be closed with composite.
This patient liked the space between her front two teeth but wanted a greater fullness to her smile.
After whitening with the professional whitening treatment we improved the proportions of her teeth and made them slight longer and 'fuller'with composite.
As well as a happy smile, your teeth and gums should be strong and healthy and your breath should be fresh.
Once you have become a patient at Randalstown Dental Clinic, we will help you to care for your mouth and your teeth for the future.
Dental hygiene is important, not only for treating active gum disease, but also to help you maintain good oral health and fresh breath.
An appointment with our hygienist, involves scaling and polishing your teeth, leaving them gleaming and feeling fresh.
She will show you how effective brushing, flossing and use of a mouthwash can help prevent gum disease and maintain a healthy, fresh smile.
The act of smiling has a positive effect on our happiness and physical health.
The feel good neurotransmitters dopamine, endorphins and serotonin are all released when a smile flashes across your face.
However some of us choose to hide our teeth and therefore stifle our smiles'.
It's hard to break into an unselfconscious smile when you're worried people will stare at your teeth.
Thankfully with advances in cosmetic dentistry we can improve our teeth and our smiles and as a result our self esteem!
As we age the elasticity in our skin deteriorates and gravity pushes our muscles downwards.
And whilst this can look attractive on men - on women it doesn't translate as well.
The general acceptance of what makes a woman attractive and youthful is wide apart eyes that are open - looking alert and happy and a friendly upturned mouth.
As the skin droops downwards it can distort our features - especially around the eye area, and our faces take on a different appearance.
It almost certainly gives a constantly tired - somewhat angry, brooding - look.
If you are not satisfied - We place a strong emphasis on communication and on providing a consistently high quality of service.
However, sometimes in life and dentistry hiccups occur.
We pride ourselves in keeping these to a minimum.
Nonetheless it is important we have a strategy in place to cope swiftly and efficiently should a complaint arise from a patient.
There is nothing worse than feeling you are not being listened to.
We are required by the GDC to inform all our patients in our website about our complaints procedure.
