You will then be given an appointment time with one of the available dentists.
This will be for an initial examination which usually lasts around 15 minutes.
Please arrive 5 minutes before your appointment time to fill in your medical history and any other required paperwork.
We may have already asked you to fill in your medical history questionnaire on our website prior to attending.
Private treatments are also available at Banbeath Dental Practice, and NHS patients are always welcome to consider private options as part of their treatment plan.
All treatment costs will be discussed and agreed prior to starting treatment.
For more complex treatments we may consider referrals to specialist dentists, for example oral surgery, orthodontics and dental implants.
Our practice is dedicated to preventative measure to help you maintain healthy teeth and gums.
As the Dental Therapist at the practice I am available to ensure continued oral health for everyone.
As well as fillings and treatment on children I have a particular interest in periodontal care.
What is a Dental Therapist?
A Dental Therapist is a dental care professional who can provide the same duties as a Dental Hygienist but has also received additional training to perform more advanced and complex procedures.
