Montrose Dental Care
Montrose Dental Care is a friendly, relaxed dental practice centrally located in Montrose. It was established in 2010 by Dr Lorraine Arnot, a Montrose-based dentist since 2005. Our friendly and approachable team aim to make your visit to the practice as stress-free as possible. We understand that some patients may be nervous or anxious about visiting the dentist.

At Montrose Dental Care we take time to get to know you and discuss any concerns you may have. We are passionate about preventing dental disease and giving you the information you need to look after your mouth. We will carry out thorough examinations, taking x-rays when required and discuss a treatment plan and preventive regime tailored to your needs.
Services
Lorraine has enjoyed working in Montrose since 2005 and decided to take over the practice in 2010 following the retiral of the previous owners.
Lorraine has interests in treating nervous patients, children's dentistry and cosmetic dentistry.
In her spare time Lorraine enjoys cycling, running, travel and spending time with her husband and young family.
Lisa became interested in dentistry while studying for her first degree in Forensic Psychobiology and overcoming a fear of the dentist.
Lisa's areas of interest include dental anxiety and the practice of endodontics, which includes root canal treatment.
We are committed to providing NHS dental care and always welcome new NHS patients to our practice.
NHS dentistry provides all of the care, advice and treatment required to keep your mouth healthy.
However, there are limitations to the materials we can use and treatments we can carry out under NHS regulations.
We also offer a range of affordable private treatment options such as tooth whitening, tooth coloured fillings and cosmetic crowns which are not available on the NHS.
If you have a dental problem that requires urgent attention please contact us as early in the day as possible (preferably before 10.30am) and we will endeavour to see you that day.
Outside of normal opening hours (weekday evenings after 17:30 and all times at weekends), please telephone the emergency NHS 24 number (111).
Please be aware that out of hours emergency appointments will normally take place at Kings Cross Hospital, Dundee.
The practice may occasionally close at other times.
A message will be left on the practice phone number (01674 673255) advising how to obtain emergency treatment or further advice.
Childsmile is a national program designed to improve the oral health of children in Scotland.
At Montrose Dental Care we are committed to promoting good oral health and forming good habits in children from a young age.
We recommend that you register your child with the practice as soon as possible after birth so that we can give you advice about how to look after your child's teeth.
Visits to the dentist from an early age also help children to get used to the sights, sounds and smells of a dental practice.
Following your consultation with your dentist you will be given an estimate of your treatment cost.
