As I am sure you can imagine NHS dentistry continues to be in high demand and we do take on new patients to our NHS list at varying times throughout the year.
It is not possible to predict when these times will be or how often they will occur as the speed and frequency of our new NHS patients uptake is dictated by those who we are already seeing and treating in the Practcie.
We take patients off it in strict time order and we are not able to defer joining the Practcie for any reason so if we call and you cant come or don't want to come at the time we will ask you to re-join the list again and wait for the next time your name comes to the top of the waiting list.

In order to make sure that we are making the most of the limited resources we have we to provide NHS dental care we are constantly reviewing our active patient lists.
If you are an NHS patient who has not been to the practice for some time after there last check up was due you may be removed from our active patients list and marked as lapsed.
This means you will need to join our waiting list to be seen in the Practice again on the NHS.
Your recall frequency will be discussed at you most recent check up and can vary from visit to visit depending on your dental need.

When you come the the Practcie for a check up you will be told at the end of the appointment when you should book in again with us.
If you like you can do it straight away or alternatively you can wait until nearer your due time and then book in.
It is up to you.
We do offer a free reminder service that relies on your contact details being kept up to date.
This service is very useful to the majority but it does not work for everyone and so should be viewed as a useful extra as opposed to the main trigger to booking your next appointment with us.
