Following the news that there will be a national lock-down starting on Thursday, I am delighted to announce that dental practices are able to continue to provide face-to-face appointments. This news comes as a great relief because our experiences during the first lock-down confirmed that antibiotics, analgesia and advice can be ineffective for acute dental problems.
Thanks to the hard work and dedication of the team over the past 5 months, Derwent Dental Care has been providing a safe, effective and comprehensive service for which we have received fantastic feedback from our patients. The practice has continually reviewed and adapted its operating procedures and I am therefore confident that we can continue to provide our normal level of care throughout the next few difficult weeks.
If you already have an appointment for either an examination or treatment arranged, please still attend the surgery as normal. This applies to all our patients (Private fee-per-item, Private Plan and NHS). Remember - if left untreated, small dental problems can develop into large dental problems!
