Services
Corner House Dental Practice has been established for over 100 years with a history of providing excellent, professional dental care to our patients.
We have a reputation for being a friendly, caring practice with a continuity of staff.
This leads to good patient-practice relationships where the patient can trust the practice to look after their oral health.
We have years of experience in preventive and restorative treatments, as well as cosmetic dentistry.
We believe that oral health contributes to a person's general health.
Tooth decay and gum disease are common problems; most people will suffer with some form of it during their lives.
As soon as tooth decay occurs, it is important to remove the decay, clean and then repair the tooth.
There are two main types of filling material available, Composite (Tooth coloured) and Amalgam (Silver coloured).
Composite fillings are more aesthetically pleasing and nowadays tend to be the filling of choice.
Your dentist will choose a shade to match your existing teeth, although discolouration may occur over time.
If you have to cancel an appointment, please give us 24 hours' notice so that we can offer the time to someone waiting for treatment.
We may make a charge for short notice cancellations or missed appointments.
The practice surgery is located in Norwich Road in Cromer and has access to free street parking.
We are also conveniently located for public transport.
Our Dental Membership Plans encourages regular attendance, enabling us to spot problems before they arise and results in helping you maintain healthy teeth and gums for life.
Depending on how good your dental health is in your initial appointment, your dentist will decide which plan is needed to maintain your dental health.
This results in the complete package to maintain your oral health.
We strongly recommend joining to help reduce the risk of expensive restorative treatment in the future.
Please speak to any member of the team if you would like more information or for details on how to register.
As well as concentrating on the health of your teeth, there are now procedures concerned with the aesthetics, or appearance, of your teeth.
Cosmetic dentistry can be used to straighten, lighten, reshape and repair teeth.
As well as the two procedures below, crowns and composite fillings can also come under the heading of 'cosmetic dentistry'.
The most common tooth whitening method is home whitening.
A tray is custom-made to fit the teeth and safely hold a gel against the teeth to be whitened.
A veneer is a thin slice of porcelain, or a tooth-coloured composite, made to fit precisely over the front surface of a tooth, much like a false fingernail on a nail.
