Services
A dental crown is an artificial restoration used to cover all or most of the visible part of a tooth.
Sometimes referred to as a 'cap' the crown aims to restore the shape and size of a tooth whilst also providing durability.
Crowns can be made from metal, porcelain and ceramic materials.
These are the option of choice for posterior teeth if strength is important, but a metal free crown is desired.
Having similar properties to Emax crowns but also increased durability.
We recommend Emax Crowns for the most superior aesthetics and durability.
A Denture is used to replace a missing tooth or teeth.
Not only does it improve appearance but it also aids function.
You can have a partial denture to replace a few teeth or a full denture which replaces all the teeth in the jaw.
Dentures are commonly made of acrylic but can be made of other materials such as cobalt chrome or vinyl.
Can be used to produce full or partial dentures.
A partial cobalt chrome denture uses strength clasps, which can be metal, pink or a natural colour, to clip onto the natural teeth and provides stability.
Regular visits to a dental hygienist is an essential aspect in keeping your gums and teeth healthy.
Regular hygiene visits ensure that hidden and difficult-to-reach plaque and tartar is removed improving the health of your teeth and gums.
Hygienists can also help you maintain brighter, whiter teeth.
Scaling with an ultra-sonic cleaner and polishing removes surface stains, leaving you with a fresher, brighter smile.
Your hygienist can also provide advice on how to improve your oral health through changes in lifestyle or diet, offer a tailored at home cleaning routine and teach you good cleaning techniques, allowing you to maintain a healthy smile at home.
Dental Implants are used as a way to replace missing teeth, suitable for all age groups.
Teeth can be missing for a number of reasons, for instance, you may have lost a tooth through a sports related injury or trauma or perhaps even had teeth missing since birth.
Dental implants could be the long term solution you are looking for.
A dental implant is a titanium screw which is placed into the jaw bone, an abutment is then placed into the implant and allows for your final restoration to be fitted, which could be a single crown, bridge or implants can even be used to stabilise and secure a denture in place.
Invisalign is a world leading treatment for straightening teeth using invisible aligners.
It offers an ideal solution for those who are looking to improve their smile discreetly.
3-D technology is used to determine the exact shape of your teeth creating aligners that are designed specifically for your mouth.
These aligners allow the dentist to make slight adjustments to the level of movement as the treatment progresses.
An aligner needs to be replaced every two weeks, until the desired result is obtained.
