Ivory Dental Studio
Dr Jag Soneji and his team welcome you the Ivory Dental Studio. A practice led by a holistic approach to dentistry to ensure your visit and ongoing care is a professional and positive experience. Our holistic approach to dentistry allows us to consider a patients total wellbeing, through consultation and the use of carefully assessed materials and methods.

The Ivory Dental Studio is a general dental practice with a different ethos. We believe in dentistry which is minimally invasive and takes a whole body, holistic approach. We only use materials which are better tolerated by the body such as metal-free fillings and crowns.

Our dentists offer the full range of dental treatments but use the latest technology to provide the most advanced and convenient dentistry available including making same day crowns using the cutting edge CEREC system, INVISALIGN 'invisible' braces and INMAN ALIGNERS.I used to be so ashamed of my wonky teeth that I never ever smiled and it really ruined my confidence, I was referred to Dr Soneji where I received the best treatment I could have ever asked for!
Services
Root canal therapy (or endodontics) involves removing infected pulp from the innermost part of the tooth.
This prevents the infection from spreading and can help save a tooth that may otherwise have to be extracted.
The pulp is made up of soft tissue, including nerves and blood vessels, and extends from the crown to the tips of the root.
The pulp can become infected due to decay, a deep filling or trauma to the tooth.
Symptoms can include pain, increased sensitivity to temperature, discolouration, a metallic taste, gum tenderness or swelling.
As well as providing an effective repair for tooth decay or damage, composite (or white) fillings are also a natural-looking alternative to more obvious amalgam fillings.
This is because they are made from tooth-coloured resin; a mixture of plastic and glass that blends in beautifully with your teeth.
They support the structure of a damaged tooth, helping to prevent further breakage or sensitivity, and can be placed in the front or back teeth.
The area to be treated is numbed with a local anaesthetic and the decayed part of the tooth removed.
The temporomandibular joint connects your jaw to the bones of your skull and moves the jaw up and down.
If you have problems with this joint (known as temporomandibular disorder or TMD), your dentist will thoroughly examine your teeth and carry out a medical evaluation.
They may also take x-rays to your jaw joint and see how your teeth bite together.
Teeth grinding and clenching of the jaw (known as bruxism) can contribute to TMD.
This usually occurs unconsciously while you are sleeping and is generally caused by stress and anxiety.
Fissures are the thin grooves on the chewing surfaces and no matter how well they are brushed, bacteria can still collect within them and eventually cause decay.
A fissure sealant is a safe plastic coating applied to the tooth to stop food particles and bacteria from settling in these hard-to-clean grooves.
This preventive treatment is normally given to children whose permanent teeth are starting to emerge, usually between 6 and 7 years.
The application process is quick and easy, and there is no need for an anaesthetic or drilling.
If you feel embarrassed about gaps in your smile, a natural-looking dental bridge can successfully fill in those unsightly spaces and help restore your confidence.
A longer lasting alternative to dentures, dental bridges are an effective way to replace one or more missing teeth.
They consist of a false tooth supported by adjacent teeth called abutments.
Bridges can either be of fixed type or adhesive type.
They can also be supported by implants.
Wherever possible we aim to make metal free bridges.
