Our centre was opened in 1994 and later visited by the Chief Dental Officer for England and Wales, Brian Mouatt CBE. The centre has provided specialist services since 1994 and now provides an additional NHS services contract. The specialist services are now provided by the Educational and specialist arm of the Sterling Dental Group, The Sterling Dental College.
Our experienced staff ensure the care of our patients is outstanding. The Sterling Dental Centre has a number of accreditations from: BPP university, City of London Dental Scholl and is an outreach centre for Warwick University Dentistry. In addition we have been running successful courses and seminars since 1994. Warwick accredits Sterling as an outreach centre to train students; Sterling is also providing CPD activities for dentists and DCPs.

Local anaesthesia involves the administration of a local anaesthetic in the mouth to provide adequate analgesia for the safe, comfortable and painless removal of teeth.
The patient is awake and alert at all times.
This is an extremely safe procedure.
There is no age restriction for this type of anaesthetic.
The most common local anaesthetic used is Lignocaine.
