Dr Asquith qualified from the Royal Dental Hospital London (which has subsequently merged with King's College London) in 1981. Dr Asquith has owned the practice for nearly 30 years providing a mix of NHS and private general dental care to both adults and children. Dr Asquith has been involved in the profession at both a local and national level for many years.
He has been a member of the British Dental Association (BDA) since 1978 and has chaired various dental committees. His experiences include chairing the second largest branch of the BDA (Middlesex and Hertfordshire). In 2009 he chaired the national Conference of Local Dental Committees (LDC). Following this he was made an official adviser to the Minister of Health.

In 2014 he was invited to speak at the alumni weekend, he spoke about various topics including: effective political lobbying and the current state of general NHS dentistry.

It is important to note that unlike other NHS local services, patients are charged according to three bands, these are national and prices are fixed by the government.
