Old Amersham Dental Clinic
Dentistry has always been safe, remains safe AND we have a clear understanding of the measures we need to have in place to safely see our patients for all dental treatments, including very essential dental checkups and hygienist visits, during this pandemic. Millions of patients around the world have safely visited their dentists in the past few months for the full range of dental services and with the correct PPE and infection prevention measures in place, dental care should continue to be provided.

At Old Amersham Dental Clinic we adhere to rigid infection prevention protocols where surgeries are deep cleaned after each patient and all rooms are 'fogged'* when patients leave the practice. Our protocols and working practices are reviewed on a regular basis and all scenarios appropriately risk assessed to ensure the safety of all our patients, visitors and staff.

As the Prime Minister has said, 'the overrunning of the NHS would be a medical and moral disaster' - let us not add dental emergencies to the burden of the NHS.
Services
We check that any fillings or other restorations are still strong and healthy, looking for signs of leakage, cracks or tooth decay.
We check for the presence of plaque (which does all the damage to teeth, yet can be controlled to preserve health).
We check to see if the inside of your mouth (cheeks, lips, tongue, roof and floor of mouth) is healthy.
We offer a variety of fillings, including replacement of amalgam fillings (if appropriate) for cosmetic reasons.
Our Dentist is happy to explore and discuss all available options, backed with professional, clinical advice.
You and your family can enjoy all the benefits of our carefully tailored and flexible care plans, which include complimentary dental health checks and hygienist appointments.
Assessment of emergencies and dental pain with any temporary treatment required, carried out at the practice during normal surgery hours.
20% reduction off a wide variety of laboratory based treatments required, i.e. crowns, bridges and dentures.
Worldwide Trauma Insurance to protect against the cost of large unforeseen accidental damage.
This is a very popular treatment as patients find that with time the frown lines deepen and make the face look sterner and more severe.
By simple application of anti-wrinkle injections, Doctor Shehla can soften these to provide a smooth forehead.

These beauties wanted plumper lips simply to improve their self- confidence and enhance their natural features.
After a consultation with Doctor Shelha, filler was used painlessly to produce a plumper more pouty look but the end result was subtle and beautiful.
My wife and I have been patients of Dr Tracey Jarrett since she acquired the Old Amersham Dental Clinic, and have nothing but praise for the care and treatment we have received there, not only from Dr Jarrett herself, but also from the dental nurses and receptionists.
We have great confidence in the practice and have great pleasure in recommending it.
Tracey and her team are most welcoming and professional.
Their gentle approach means all my children, amazingly and gladly show their teeth for Tracey to check!
Please note that a charge will be made for appointments broken or cancelled without 24 hours notice.
Old Amersham Dental Clinic sees complaints as an essential tool, helping us to identify weaknesses and improve our customer care.
If a patient with a complaint can be transformed into an advocate of the practice, we will have a strong ally who will refer many others.
As a patient centred practice we are delighted to announce our registration and compliance with the Care Quality Commission has now been completed.
