Atul is the practice owner and lead clinician at The Boathouse Surgery.
He graduated from Glasgow University in 1992.
Atul then completed several postgraduate courses including an MSc in Oral Medicine and Special Needs at the Eastman Institute, London.
Atul's special interests are the treatment of phobic and medically compromised patients and dental implants.
He was awarded a Diploma in Dental Implants from the Royal College of Surgeons (Ed).
When not at the practice, you will find Atul training for the next charity race or in Windsor, juggling family life and fitting in all the taxi journeys for his children's school activities.
Treat our patients with respect and courtesy and strive to achieve a satisfactory outcome from each visit.
That you attend an appointment in good time for you to complete any paperwork and get settled before you are due in the surgery.
If you are happy with our service you recommend us to a family member, friend or colleague and that you let us have a written testimonial for us to show to other patients about to undergo a similar dental experience.
Our friendly team is always eager to welcome new patients to the practice.
At The Boathouse we take an active part in our community of Goring and Streatley and support other local businesses.
We run various events, support local schools and raise funds for charities.
We are delighted to be a regular sponsor of the Goring 10K which raises funds for Goring Primary School.
You're likely to spot some of the team including Atul and John as they complete the course.
They'll appreciate your support so please give them a cheer as they go by.
During the year we have regular dental offers and events in the practice.
Problems, such as crooked teeth, twisted teeth and gaps between the teeth as well as poor alignment and crowding, are common.
An attractive smile can make you feel happier and more confident as well as make the right impression.
Orthodontic treatment is the dental term given to this and a service we provide at The Boathouse for local Goring residents.
Before orthodontic treatment Debbie's teeth were at different angles and her bite wasn't aligned.
In addition, some of her teeth had become slightly discoloured, which is to be expected over time.
Implant treatment normally has two stages.
First, the implant is placed in the jaw.
Then, when the jaw has healed, replacement teeth are attached to the implant.
In some situations it is possible for temporary teeth to be attached to an implant at the time of fitting.
First, you should decide whether implants could be right for you.
Contact us to arrange an implant consultation and discussion and we will let you know the possibilities.
Our team will be only too happy to help you with any questions you may have.
