Services
Hanwell Dental Practice is an independent dental practice offering an extensive variety of dental services for both NHS and private patients.
Established in 1964, the practice has recently undergone some significant improvements under the leadership of Dr Chand and Dr Bains.
Modern well-equipped surgeries help us to offer the latest techniques using high quality materials under rigorous cross-infection control.
Apart from the interior refurbishment and decontamination room set up, we have a large, beautiful garden where your children can wait and play while you're having your treatment.
We welcome people of all ages and abilities, so when booking your appointment do not forget to book for members of your family as well.
We like to focus on preventative care as early as possible.
Checkups and dental care for under 18's are free of charge (except advanced cosmetic work).
We enjoy providing top quality routine dental care from simple cleanings to fillings, dentures and advanced cosmetic work for all our patients.
We are able to take on new private patients at any time and are finding that more people choose to have private treatment due to the wide selection of treatment options available, especially for cosmetic dentistry.
Your gums are like cushions for your teeth: they surround the teeth in the jaws and help to support them.
Looking after your gums is just as important as looking after your teeth.
Red and swollen gums that bleed when you brush them could be a sign of gum disease, also known as gingivitis.
When gingivitis is left untreated it can develop further into a type of infection known as periodontitis, which affects the entire area surrounding the tooth.
A result of this could be losing your tooth so it's vital to avoid.
Do you feel a shooting pain in your teeth when eating or drinking something hot?
Does the thought of biting into ice cream or a cold hard apple make you wince?
Sensitive teeth can be a burden for many people and can be caused by several things.
It is always important to seek advice from a dental professional so the source of the problem can be identified and treated.
One cause of sensitivity is dental erosion, which is the loss of tooth enamel.
Enamel is the hard outer coating of a tooth, which protects the sensitive dentine underneath.
As dental professionals we believe in Preventative dental care and encourage our patients to bring their children to the practice from an early age.
Regular check-ups from a young age will ensure children won't suffer from untreated dental decay with devastating effects to their growing dentition.
There are a number of Preventative treatments that our team can provide for children.
Fluoride applications are a safe and effective way to safeguard your growing child's teeth from developing decay.
The fluoride is painted onto the surface of the child's teeth and this helps to mineralise the teeth.
