We offer a full range of dental treatments for all the family including cosmetic dentistry, tooth whitening and dental implants. As you'd expect we have a clear pandemic plan and will be following additional protocols to ensure our reopening is safe and effective for both staff and patients.
After 12 weeks of closure, we're sure you can appreciate that we have a substantial number of patients who need urgent care and whilst we'd love to see everyone as soon as we can, we will of course prioritise those patients experiencing acute dental pain and have been triaged by the practice during lockdown.Thereafter we will be contacting patients to re establish their regular routine appointments and patients that are mid treatment - please bear with us in the interim.

Somerhill Dental Practice was established in 1998 by Dr Keith Grey and used to be located at the Charter Medical Centre, Hove.
Over the years we continued to expand and in 2012 we moved to brand new premises at 26 Farm Road, Hove.
The practice is now owned by Dr Keith Grey, Dr Adam Tabor and Dr Emma Hutchinson.
We currently have 5 dental practitioners, 4 hygienists and a growing support team.
At Somerhill Dental Practice you will have access to all aspects of dental care ranging from essential preventative advice and education through to more advanced restorative and cosmetic treatments such as dental implants.

Oral Hygiene is part of our ethos of preventative care.
We have 3 hygienists, Clair, Erika and Susan who will take great care in maintaining your teeth and gums.
Good oral hygiene helps prevent gum disease, tooth decay, tooth discolouring and halitosis.
Clair, Erika and Susan will carefully clean around the gums and teeth removing any build up of dental plaque and calculus (calcified plaque).
They can tailor a cleaning regime to suit you, and will demonstrate how to best maintain your teeth and gums.
We have 3 hygienists, Clair, Erika and Susan who will take great care in maintaining your teeth and gums.

A dental implant is an artificial replacement for a tooth root, usually made from titanium.
They can then act as a foundation for crowns, dentures or bridgework.
The main aim during the placement of any implant is to achieve immediate close contact with the surrounding bone.
Over time, further growth of bone onto the implant surface enhance the stability of the implant.
In order to support replacement teeth, the implants have an internal screw thread.
This allows a variety of components to be fitted.
