Waris qualified from Liverpool University in 1992 where he completed his Vocational Training year. In addition to general dental practice he has worked as a senior house officer in Oral and maxillo-facial surgery at Doncaster Royal Infirmary. He has obtained his Canadian Dental Licence by written and practical examinations allowing him to practice in all of the Canadian provinces.
He has undertaken an extensive Diploma in Restorative Dentistry course with the Royal College of surgeons over a period of 18 months. He has undertaken further study to provide IV sedation for nervous patients where required. Waris is passionate about cosmetic dentistry; certified to provide Invisalign, Inman Aligner braces, anti-wrinkle treatment and facial fillers.
He has restored many implants to date and is currently undertaking further study in the placement of dental implants. He is dedicated to continuous postgraduate education and providing ethical preventively focused dentistry that is evidence based.

Your bespoke dental examination includes a comprehensive dental exam which will be performed by your dentist at your initial dental visit.
The Jaw Joint(TMJ), Lymph node and Muscles examination: Check the jaw joint, neck and facial muscles for any abnormalities.
Oral cancer screening: Check the face, neck, lips, tongue, throat, tissues, and gums for any signs of oral cancer.
Examination of tooth decay: All tooth surfaces will be checked for decay with special dental instruments.
Examination of your bite checking how your teeth meet and any for abnormal contacts on jaw movements and tooth wear, fractures, cracks.

I was a dental phobic person,who had let his teeth decay over the years.I recently got in touch with Waris as one of my front teeth snapped and looked terrible.He gave me a full dental examination along with multiple x rays.At this appointment it was discovered that i had many issues which needed sorting,so we discussed and decided a plan of action.To cut a long story short i had 4 roots removed and numerous fillings.He did a brilliant job of building the front tooth and also started the process of fitting me with a chrome denture,which now fits beautifully.The reason i am telling all this is because of my fear of dentists.He put me at ease from the word go,and has built my confidence immensely.I am over the moon with care i received from Waris and his team and would not hesitate in recommending him.Many thanks Waris.

I started my treatment with Dr Waris Patal to have invaslign in august 2016. I wouldn't recommend anybody else, he is such an in detail kinda person. Makes everything very clear. Makes you feel 100% comfortable, reasonable prices. I was so consious of my teeth at the beginning but with Waris' help my teeth are now in my eyes 'perfect' a year on. i love to smile now and its all thanks to him! Wouldn't dream of going to another dentist now. Thankyou Waris

Great experience as I have always been scared of going to the dentist - I felt relaxed and my teeth have improved and look much better. Dr Patel works with great integrity and transparency by explaining the procedure which is an excellent quality. I have been treated by dentists all over the world and Dr Patel is one of the Best!
