Manor Lodge Dental Surgery was first established in the heart of the charming town of Totnes, Devon in 1937. Dr Robert Jenkins, our principal dentist, first began working at the practice in 1990. Robert is passionate about providing top class dentistry and completely committed to achieving great results in his work. In 1996 Robert became the sole owner of the practice, and through hard work and dedication has instilled his passion into the ethos of the team until today, where excellence sits at the core of the business.
Following Robert's completion of an MSc degree in dental implantology in 2007, we went on to establish the South Hams Implant Centre. Investment in the latest CEREC CAD CAM technology allows precise on-site milling of beautiful inlay, onlay, crowns bridges and veneer restorations during a single visit. This was a big step for the practice and gave the team the opportunity to expand their skill set and develop their professional abilities even further.
We have been awarded the British Dental Association 'Good Practice' award and adhere to all current guidelines as laid out by the British Dental Association (BDA), Care Quality Commission (CQC) and the General Dental Council (GDC).

Our Sirona Orthophos XG 3D Cone Beam Scanner provides us with complete three-dimensional X-ray views of the jaws, allowing us to fully understand important structures.
3D X-rays allow us to diagnose anomalies such as superimposed teeth, unexpected nerve canal paths, hidden roots, or temporomandibular joint problems.
Our skills and technology allow us to plan and implement our implant surgery with absolute precision and total confidence.
