Wickersley Dental and Implant Practice was founded in 1965 and acquired in 1998 by the current principal dentist and owner, Richard Mitchell. Our private dental practice focuses on high-quality treatment, preventative care and implantology. Our services include general dental care, maintenance and preventative advice, dental hygiene services, restorative treatments, advanced cosmetic procedures, orthodontics and paediatric dentistry.
We also provide full arches in one session with our all-on-four and all-on-six same day teeth services. We are an established and trusted referral practice, helping patients sent to us by our colleagues at other practices in the region for advanced cosmetic treatments and dental implants. Our practice incorporates three surgeries, two of which are on the ground floor, providing ease of access for less able patients.
Our open plan practice is modern, welcoming and relaxing, with refreshments available. Over the past 20 years, we have continually invested in our practice and its equipment to make sure we remain at the cutting edge of dentistry, providing the most advanced and professional care to each of our patients.

Richard first decided on a career in dentistry aged 14 years old after he underwent extensive treatment himself.
Following graduation from Manchester University he worked in a number of practices gaining experience before taking over at Wickersley in 1998.
Michael arrived at Wickersley Dental and Implant Practice in 1999 after qualifying from Sheffield University.
He spent his first vocational training year under the supervision of Richard, at the time a certified vocational trainer.
Kamil joined the team here at Wickersley in 2020.
