The Terrace Dental Practice
As our patient you can expect high quality care and treatment based on preventative dentistry in friendly, comfortable surroundings. Over the years Dr Aaron has forged ties with endodontists, orthodontists, periodontists, implantologists and oral surgeons. Where a referral is necessary we are able to arrange appointments without delay and feel fortunate to be able to offer such comprehensive oral care options.

Where a dental laboratory service is required, we are proud of our relationship with carefully selected, highly skilled dental technicians.
Services
The Terrace Dental Practice has recently been recognised by the BDA as committed to good practice and has joined its Good Practice Scheme.
This means that the practice meets nationally recognised standards to provide the best possible care for its patients.
The BDA's Good Practice Scheme is a practical tool to help dental teams comply with currently accepted standards of good practice.

Every member of the practice is aware of the need to work safely under General Dental Council guidelines.
Dr Benjamin Aaron B Ch. D qualified at The Leeds Dental Institute in 1997.
As an established NHS practice, we are committed to giving you all available treatment under these regulations.
Most treatments are available on the NHS, this includes bridgework at the front of the mouth, root fillings (including molars) and in certain cases metal dentures are available.
Some treatments can be improved using more expensive materials however, this will not affect the success and longevity.
A root filling or crown on the NHS should last as long as one done privately.
This therefore applies mostly to aesthetic treatments.
We provide all NHS treatment available and in addition have a contract to provide NHS orthodontics to under 18's.
We provide private treatment on request and can arrange onward referral for specialist treatment both in the NHS at the Dental hospital or privately.
NHS dental treatment includes all treatment necessary to secure and maintain your oral health.
In some instances treatment is not available or allowable under the NHS e.g.
If you need help with charges or have paid when you were entitled to benefits, please use the NHS forms found on our leaflets page.
The charge you pay depends on the treatment you need to keep your mouth, gums and teeth healthy.
You will only ever be asked to pay one charge for each complete course of treatment, even if you need to visit your dentist more than once to finish it - either Band 1, Band 2 or Band 3.
This covers an examination, diagnosis (eg X-rays), advice on how to prevent future problems, a scale and polish if needed, and application of fluoride varnish or fissure sealant.
If you require urgent care, even if your urgent treatment needs more than one appointment to complete, you will only need to pay one Band 1 charge.
Harassment includes but is not limited to violence or abuse, together with using offensive language.
This includes failure to keep appointments.
In this case, we will inform the patient in writing and also notify the NHS Commissioning Board.
These will remain confidential and secure.
However from time to time we may need to release these to the NHS Commissioning Board or NHS Business Services Authority as part of our ongoing clinical review process.
We shall try to contact you before releasing your dental records to another organisation.
