We continue to work under the guidance from the health board and see as many patients as possible. We have increased our capacity to allow us to start seeing more examinations albeit at a much reduced number than in normal times. We are very aware that by now everyone is overdue a check up. The fairest thing we can do is start by contacting those who have waited the longest.
We are still limited to the number of AGPs we can carry out so any scale and polishes carries out at exams will be with hand scalers rather than the ultrasonic scaler. This allows us to see as many patients as possible in the time available. We are very busy everyday with patients requiring more urgent care and working through uncompleted treatment plans.
